Took out my CGMS yesterday and I get my first high in a week. Figures...blood sugar is 368.

I'm sorry to hear about your high sugar, it reminds me of how much the lives of all diabetics have improved with all this new technology, and without it- diabetes gets a bit more difficult :(
and ahh I was at the caves too!! I SO wish we had known earlier that we were both going to be there!
You know, I have found myself becoming extrememly dependant on my CGMS. I took mine out for a couple of days about 2 weeks ago and ran high/low, up/down the entire time. Sigh. Technology. I put it back in the very next morning and was soooo glad to have it.
I was diagnosed with T1 diabetes when I was 9 years old. I am now newly married and I can see such an amazing future ahead of me. I lived as though I had never been diagnosed for the first 12 years after diagnosis and then decided I had to face reality. I did just that, went through a successful pregnancy and have a beautiful baby girl! I changed the name of my blog from "This is my SOS" because I think my SOS has been answered, and now I am on the journey of enjoying my new life!
